Profile of Assistant Director
Dr. Nune Srinivasa Rao is working as Assistant Director in the Centre for Innovations in Public Systems (CIPS) of Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI). Dr Rao has a Ph.D. in Social Work from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. He has 24 years experience in Academic and Social Development Sector including Microfinance, livelihood promotion, women empowerment, gender budgeting, entrepreneurship promotion, skill development and ICT4D. He worked with M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF), APMAS, C-DAC (Vikaspedia), Aga Khan Foundation, WD&CW Dept (NMEW), GoAP, AP Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) and National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NI-MSME) Govt of India.

He is an expert in Training and Research related to Innovations, design thinking, Promotion of Entrepreneurship, women entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship and promotion of SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) through young entrepreneurs and designed PGD course on Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development and performed as Chief Administrative Officer for NI-MSME.
He has published 10 articles in various Journals and conferences of National and International repute. He has led and participated in Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), research studies, impact studies and project evaluation and prepared various innovative project proposals. He also coordinated various national TOT programmes, developed training modules & IEC/ ICT material and provided guest lecturers on Participatory Training Methodologies (PTM), SHGs & microfinance, livelihood promotion, Community based Institutions building, ICT4D, CSR, Gender equality & Gender Budgeting etc.
