Field Visits in 2017
Pre-launch visit to guide the ITDA towards ‘Establishing Career Guidance and Counselling Centres for the ST students of Tribal Welfare Educational Institutions, ITDA Seethampeta, Srikakulam.

Outcome: CIPS has successfully replicated the Career Guidance Program which is a joint initiative of UNDP and Telangana State.
A team of experts from CIPS visited the areas of Andhra Pradesh of Tribal areas
Date: [14th December 2017] – [20th December 2017]
Outcome: CIPS has entered in to MoU with Tribal Welfare Department, Andhra Pradesh and taken up six (6) projects. One of the project is to prepare a training manual for the functionaries of Gramasabha in the Scheduled Areas. In order to formulate the module a team of experts from CIPS are visiting the areas of Andhra Pradesh of Tribal areas and taken the photos of their interaction.
Visit to Seoul, South Korea for attending the 2017 Global Development Learning Network (GDLN) face-to-face training programme

Outcome: The following are the key takeaways from the program:
1. Capacity building of CIPS Staff.
2. A knowledge sharing forum to get acquainted with the global best practices and innovations.
3. A platform to represent India and share innovative practices at a global level.
4. A networking opportunity for CIPS to engage with organizations of similar mandate across the world.
5. Representation of CIPS and ASCI at a global forum.
Visit to the Dept. of Tribal Welfare, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, Vijayawada

Outcome: Advisor and Consultant, CIPS apprised the Director, Tribal Welfare, Govt. of A.P about the projects.
Visit to Andhra University and TCR & TM, Visakhapatnam
Date: [9th October 2017]
Outcome: Advisor visited and appraised the Hon’ble Minister, Tribal Welfare, Govt. of A.P and Principal Secretary to Govt., Tribal Welfare, Govt. of A.P on the progress of the project.
Visit to the ITDAs of Andhra Pradesh for Tribal Welfare activities

Outcome: Induction training and need assessment for designing modules under Tribal Welfare Project.
Site Inspection for setting up innovative model school for the tribal children in Andhra Pradesh
Date: [11th June 2017] – [12th June 2017]
Outcome: Representatives from CIPS, Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), Tribal Welfare Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh and ITDA Seethampeta inspected the sites for establishing model school for tribal children as one of the many replications carried out based on the recommendations of CIPS.
