INTERNAL ASSESSMENT OF CIPS BY WORLD BANK
World Bank mission consisting of Steffen Janus, Laurent Porte (LLILD), Pronita Chakrabarti (LLIIND) and Jeff Kwaterski (Root Change), convened in Hyderabad from 8th – 10th September, 2014 to develop a technical assistance proposal for strengthening the knowledge sharing capacity of the Center for Innovations in Public Systems (CIPS). The 3 day deliberations with the staff members of CIPS resulted in an in-depth assessment of its current capacity on eight knowledge sharing areas using WB-LLI’s framework for Knowledge Hub capacity. The Aide Memoir by World Bank listed various areas to strengthen the organization. A 100 day action plan was developed based on the analysis and is currently being implemented. Two more workshops are being conducted by the World Bank Mission in January, 2015 at Hyderabad. While the first one will essentially focus on CIPS staff, the second one will also include participants from Administrative Training Institutes and other Training Institutions.
